New KSD Virtual School Info Sessions

Learn About Our New Decidedly Flexible Option

Kent School District (KSD) intends to offer a sustainable online school that expands on our existing non-traditional, choice school and programming options for students in grades 6-12 starting in fall 2022. This new learning experience will be different than the remote and hybrid learning models offered during the COVID-19 closure in the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 school years.

You're invited to attend any of the following virtual opportunities to learn more about the draft model for Kent’s first virtual school. Our school model is iterative based on community input and feedback.

We are actively engaging with numerous stakeholder groups in a variety of ways. The design may evolve as we reflect the ideas of our students, families, staff, labor partners, and the larger KSD community.

Register for a Community Information Session

Attend one (or more!) virtual community information sessions to watch a brief presentation, ask questions, and engage with members of the planning team.
