Message from the Superintendent
Our district is comprised of many diverse cultures and people representing many races, ethnicities, and backgrounds. This includes our students, staff, and families who have ties to Israel and Gaza and may be affected both emotionally and mentally by the violence happening in that region.
We remain committed to providing safe and welcoming environments for all of our students. It is OK that we may hold differing opinions about the conflict and complex history of Israel and Palestine, but Antisemitic or Islamophobic speech or acts are not tolerated in our district. We are, and will remain, united as a community to support and care for each other during these difficult circumstances.
Please see below a list of resources that may be useful for families as they talk about these events.
