Kentwood High School offers many clubs and activities. We encourage you to find a club that interests you and get involved.
Associated Student Body (ASB)
The Associated Student Body (ASB) is the official student government at Kentwood. Any student is welcome to attend their respective class meetings. ASB officers work to promote school spirit and act as a student advisory committee to the administration. Class officers and representatives work to raise money for graduation and senior activities and to promote class spirit.

American Sign Language (ASL) Club
Join the ASL club to receive ASL tutoring and discuss basic ASL topics such as Deaf culture and introduction to the Deaf community.

- Meets: The second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at 3:15 p.m.
Anime Club
Join the Anime Club to watch and talk about anime.

- Meets: Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3:30 p.m.
Black Student Union
Join the Black Student Union to raise awareness throughout campus about diversity, racism, inclusion, and black culture while building relationships and a community.

Conk Crew
Join Conk Crew, a leadership club, to provide support and activities for freshmen.

Creative Writing Club
The objective of the Creative Writing Club is to create a well-written novel or compilations and to critique our writing. We participate in contests and NaNoWriMo while teaching skills along the way.

Debate
Join the Debate Club to practice public speaking, increase confidence, diplomacy and presentation skills.

DECA
Join the DECA marketing club to compete in activities that simulate the real business world.

KW Players Drama Club
Join the KW Players Drama Club if you are interested in theatre and the arts.

D&D Club
Join the D&D Club to play Dungeons and Dragons (D&D), a tabletop role-playing game that involves thrilling adventures and new worlds.

Environmental Club
Join the Environmental Club to raise environmental awareness and work to reduce Kentwood’s environmental impact in the community.

Frespañol (World Language) Club
Join the Frespañol Club to be exposed to different languages and cultures while having fun and learn French or Spanish without the stress of grades.

Gender & Sexuality Alliance (GSA) Club
The GSA Club provides a safe space to advocate and promote LGBTQ issues.

Join this health care club to develop your leadership skills, perform community ervice, and learn more about the medical field.

Interact
Join the International Action, or Interact, Club to participate in fun, meaningful community service projects where you will help others while meeting new people.

International Thespian Society (ITS)
ITS recognizes, rewards, and encourages student achievement and celebrates the work of students in theatre production and performance. Each student is honored on a national level and gains access to opportunities and resources beyond those of their school.

Japan/K-POP CLub
Join the Japan/K-POP Club to learn more about Korean an dJapanese culture through movies, games, dances, and more.

KAPAMILYA (Filipino American) Club
Join the KAPAMILYA (Filipino American) Club to share our traditional dance, food, and culture or learn about it. We are open to all students; you do not need to be Filipino to join.

KEY Club
Join the Kiwanis Educating Youth (KEY) Club to participate in community service events including blood drives, 24-hour walkathons, and cookie brigades.

Math Club
Join the Math Club to participate in various math competitions or receive tutoring.

Meditation Club
Join the Meditation Club to complete guided meditation sessions focused on inner healing and conscious breathing and have group discussions dedicated to emotional growth.

Muslim Student Association
Join the Muslim Student Association to educates the school community about our faith and cultures through student-led activities and celebrations.

National Honor Society (NHS)
National Honor Society recognizes students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character.

Programming Club
Join the Programming Club to learn new concepts not covered in elective classes, get help with homework from related courses (AP Computer Science, Intro to Java Programming, Advanced Java Programming/Game Programming, etc.), and discuss new technology.
