Ready! For Kindergarten Class

  • No Classes Planned for Spring 2020

Due to our prolonged closure following the order of Governor Inslee, the Kent School District does not have any classes planned at this time for 2019-2020.

Find Out if Your Child is Ready for Kindergarten

The READY! for Kindergarten® school readiness program empowers parents and caregivers to succeed in their role as children’s first and most influential teachers. This free program provides parents and caregivers with tools and activities to optimize children’s natural curiosity and nurture learning and development.

The program includes three 90-minute interactive classes designed for parents and caregivers. Our elementary staff will provide materials and training to help you prepare your child for kindergarten using research-based, hands-on strategies that are both fun and effective.

Available Title I Elementary School Families

This program is supported using Title I grant funds. Families at Kent School District’s Title 1 elementary schools are eligible to attend.
